To hallow the name of the Father cost Jesus His life. Can we hallow God, His honor and His reputation by our conduct and speech without paying for it through opposition, misunderstanding, or persecution? In a world at enmity with God, there will be a consequence for living to hallow God, for taking God seriously... Living in ways that seek to step around or avoid this opposition, misunderstanding, or persecution is in effect to circumvent the cross. ~ Art Katz
